TeakCharge Commercial Strategy and Implementation
Commercial strategy that gets implemented, not filed away.
TeakCharge designs and implements commercial strategy for PE funds, portfolio companies, established tech businesses, and family business owners across Asia: commercial architecture, pre-close diligence, and market entry.
TeakCharge is the one-person commercial advisory practice Alex Szabo founded in 2025 and runs from Singapore. He leads every engagement personally, and there is no account layer.
He is a builder before he is an adviser. He scaled a business from a garage warehouse and two delivery vans to an exit at ten times its valuation, built a product vertical at Samsung from zero, and opened new markets without waiting for a local entity to exist. He has also spent years inside Google and Samsung, winning a region's investment budget out of headquarters and arbitrating how it split across countries. Both halves are common enough on their own. Together they are rare, and the second one is where most good commercial plans quietly die.
He has been answerable for a number rather than for a recommendation since his mid-twenties. Work here ends in something a named person owns.
Twenty-two Asia-Pacific markets. Sources shown. Weights editable.
Free to download, free to reuse. Every source is named, every reference year sits on the figure, and the gaps are marked rather than filled.
The scores compare only this field of twenty-two. Add or remove a market and the field rescales, so positions can move. Three independent method reviews confirmed it. This is an indicative comparison, not a stable ranking.
Change the weights. Re-rank the field. Test whether your market thesis survives.
Built because the practice needed it. Published because the data is public and the judgement is the part worth paying for.
What TeakCharge does
Three offers, for three decisions: how to make revenue repeatable, whether to buy and what happens after close, where to enter and how to launch.
- Commercial architecture your own team can run: segmentation, go-to-market motion, channel and pricing logic, and the operating rhythm that makes revenue repeatable. It ends in a one-page architecture map an internal team acts on from day one, not a deck. The method came out of running a P&L. At Google, the business-case framework Alex built became the regional standard for executive submissions.
- Pre-close commercial diligence, with the post-close plan attached: test whether the revenue is clean and repeatable before close. Then set out the post-close initiatives, named, owned, and modelled under bear, base, and upside on one decision-ready page. Alex built the format leading buy-side diligence for a leading Asia-focused private equity fund. The deal closed.
- Market entry with a first-hundred-days plan: market sequencing, partner and channel selection, the regulatory pathway, and a launch plan with owners on it. At Samsung, Alex opened the production-homebuilder channel in the US and then the UK, and secured European regulatory certification for its connected-car platform. Earlier, he opened Romania out of the Budapest office instead of standing up a local entity first, which cut the time to open a market from years to months.

How an engagement runs
Cases
Documented case studies in three groups: client engagements, from CRM discovery and AI-native innovation to market entry and a commercial engine built from zero; the investment desk, running scored fund diligence and co-investment briefs; and the AI operating systems Alex builds and runs himself. Every case names its period and its seat, and every client appears as a descriptor, never a name.
